In this mode there is one master HyperServer with several slave HyperServer instances which form a HyperServer server farm cluster. Please see Cluster Operation Modes for more details.
Standalone Server and Windows Service
In this mode configuration is identical to configuration discussed in the Standard HyperServer Cluster. You only need to make these configurations for the master HyperServer. No configuration is needed for slave HyperServer instances.
The master HyperServer will also be the WebSockets server for the whole cluster. This means that all WebSocket connections will be made to the master HyperServer.
The only needed setting is to set a proper value for the server_direct_url parameter in the master HyperServer CFG file:
Configuration for this mode is similar to the settings discussed in the previous section. However, it is strongly recommended to use a dedicated WebSockets server for ISAPI or Apache modules. See Using a Dedicated WebSockets Server for more details.
